A beginning
In the historic streets of Fatih — one of Istanbul's seven hills, in the shadow of the Mesih Pasha Mosque — the first stones of a dream were laid. We wanted to build a place where the modern woman could find luxury, privacy and tradition together a sanctuary for those who seek not simplicity but elegance, not speed but ritual.
Our intention was to open a door away from the noise of the city, beneath marble domes, into hours spent by candlelight and whispers. Today we open that door under the name of Esma Sultan.

A name
Esma Sultan was one of the most powerful female figures of Ottoman history. Born as the daughter of Sultan Ahmed III, she married Şehzade Mehmed, and made her mark on the art and charity work of her era. She did not live behind palace walls she lived at the center of life.
To carry her name means to remember, every day, women's strength, elegance and inner nobility. This hammam is a tribute to her legacy — for the modern Esma Sultans.
