— Anatomy of the Kese —

The secret of the traditional mitt

A design unchanged for centuries, an effect proven by science

A

Natural Silk Weave

Traditional kese mitts are woven from natural silk or goat hair. They don't harm the skin — they only lift the dead layer.

B

Hand Opening

The therapist's hand slips inside, giving maximum control over pressure and movement.

C

Wrist Edge

The stitched edge prevents the mitt from slipping — ensuring a firm grip during the movement.

D

Weave Density

The weave is calibrated to catch dead cells without irritating the skin — precision through centuries.

From the warm stone to the foam cloud

Drop by drop, step by step — as your body is purified

~50°C

Warming on the belly stone

You lie on the marble belly stone for 10-15 minutes. Your body warms, pores open, sweat glands begin to work. This is the essential preparation for the scrub.

~ 15:00
Warm water

Wetting and the kese scrub

Our therapist rinses your body with warm water. Then, starting from the back, gently exfoliates with the traditional kese mitt. Dead cells roll off — a visible, immediate result.

Foam begins

Foam cloud preparation

A cotton foam cloth is rubbed with soap to produce abundant foam. The therapist then squeezes this foam over your body like a cloud from the cloth.

Silky

Foam massage

Within the foam, a gentle massage is applied with soft hand strokes. Your entire body is wrapped in a layer of foam — the signature of the Turkish bath.

Rinse & rest

The foam is rinsed with warm water. The body is gently dried. You move to the cool chamber, where Turkish coffee and refreshing drinks crown the ritual.

— Effect on the Skin —

The purification of the invisible layer

The science behind the visible results

Your skin produces dead cells daily. While most fall off naturally, some remain on the surface — clogging pores and dulling the skin.

Greater absorption of moisturizer

The kese mechanically lifts this accumulated dead layer. Olive oil soap, applied immediately after, delivers deep moisture into the opened pores. The result: silky-smooth, glowing, healthy skin.

What to know about the foam ritual

Our short guide for a better experience

1-2 times monthly

Optimal frequency for healthy skin. Aligned with the natural skin renewal cycle.

Avoid 2+ times weekly

Too frequent scrubbing weakens the skin's protective barrier, causing dryness and sensitivity.

Warm up for 10 min first

Don't start the scrub before warming on the belly stone — pores must be open for full effect.

Avoid empty stomach

Heat with hunger can cause dizziness. A light snack beforehand is better.

Hydrate well after

Replenish fluids lost through sweating — 24 hours of extra hydration is essential.

No immediate sun

Skin is highly sensitive after a scrub. Sunburn risk is high for 24 hours; prefer the shade.

Your questions

How long does the foam ritual take?

The foam ritual lasts about 30-45 minutes — 10-15 minutes warming on the belly stone, then the scrub, and finally the foam wrap and rinse.

How often should I have it?

1-2 times monthly is enough for healthy skin. More frequent scrubs can damage the skin's natural barrier. Sensitive skin should have it once a month.

What should I do after?

Your skin will be highly sensitive. For 24 hours, avoid the sun, perfumed products and heavy makeup. Drink plenty of water and use a moisturizer.

Which soap is used for the foam?

Traditionally olive oil soap. Optional laurel, lavender and rose soaps are also available. All are 100% natural — paraben and additive-free.

Does the kese irritate the skin?

Our expert therapists adjust the scrub to your skin. Pressure is dosed individually; there is no irritation. For sensitive skin, it is applied more gently upon request.

Can I come during my period?

The hammam ritual can be uncomfortable during your period; we recommend not coming during this time. 2-3 days after your period ends is ideal.

How do I make a reservation?

You can book quickly by phone (0537 558 75 77) or via WhatsApp.
